Overview:

Hongyadong Folk Custom Scenic Area is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. Together with Chaotianmen Square and Jiefangbei Business District, it forms one of Chongqing's most popular tourist destinations for both locals and visitors. "Hongyadong" creatively integrates the ancient architectural art of Bayu stilted buildings with modern cultural concepts, perfectly blending with the riverside landscape and urban scenery. With a 75-meter height difference, it is built along the cliff in a terraced layout, combining various heights and levels.

Hongyadong condenses 3,000 years of Chongqing's historical heritage, incorporating the unique Bayu folk culture, mountain dwelling architecture, and dock culture into a distinctive, world-renowned urban landmark. Today, the increasingly popular Hongyadong Folk Custom Scenic Area, with its unique cultural connotations and brilliant architectural features, has become a landmark tourist attraction in Chongqing, attracting domestic and international visitors alike. It is now the second most visited site after the Forbidden City. Each day, Hongyadong, with its unmatched charm and irreplaceable uniqueness, draws tourists from around the world to explore its beauty.
