Overview
Fanjingshan, located in Jiangkou County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province, is the main peak of the Wuling Mountains. With a height of 2,572 meters, it is one of the earliest places in southern China to have risen from the sea to land, dating back about 1.4 billion years. This 5A-rated scenic area boasts a rich biodiversity, preserving subtropical original ecosystems and hosting over 7,100 species of wildlife and plants, including the only habitat of the Qianjin Snub-nosed Monkey. Fanjingshan is also a cultural mountain with a history of over 2,000 years, revered as a sacred mountain by the "Wuling Man" and with a Buddhist history dating back to the Tang Dynasty.

- Special Notice: During the National Day holiday in 2024, the eastern entrance (Jiangkou County direction) will be open from 07:00 AM to 15:00 PM, and the western entrance (Yinjiang County direction) will be open from 07:00 AM to 13:00 PM. Online ticket sales will start at 06:30 AM.
