Western Xia Tombs

Introduction

The Western Xia Tombs in Yinchuan, Ningxia is the royal cemetery of the Western Xia Dynasty, located on the eastern foot of the Helan Mountains in Xingqing District, Yinchuan City. The emperors and royal family members of the Western Xia Dynasty are buried here. It is one of the largest and most well-preserved imperial tombs in China. The Western Xia Tombs is not only an important site for studying the history of the Western Xia, but also a tourist attraction with profound historical and cultural heritage.

Transportation

  • Bus: Take the Yinchuan City Bus to the "Western Xia Royal Tombs" station to arrive.
  • Self-driving: You can reach the entrance of the scenic area along National Highway 109 or Beijing-Tibet Expressway.
