Yingxian Wooden Pagoda

Introduction

The Yingxian Wooden Pagoda in Shanxi Province is located in the northwest Fogong Temple in Yingxian City, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province. It is a Buddhist building built in the Liao Dynasty. The full name of the pagoda is "Shaka Pagoda". It is one of the oldest and tallest pure wooden structure pavilion-style buildings in China, and it is also the tallest existing wooden structure in the world. It was built in 1056 AD and has a history of nearly a thousand years.
