Introduction

The Guandi Temple in Jiezhou is located in Jiezhou Town, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province. It is one of the famous Taoist holy places in China and an important part of the world cultural heritage "Ancient City of Pingyao". The temple was built in the Sui Dynasty and has undergone many repairs and expansions. Most of the existing buildings are in the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The Guandi Temple in Jiezhou is famous for enshrining Guan Yu, a famous general of the Three Kingdoms, and is a place of martial arts respected by Chinese people at home and abroad.

Transportation

  • Bus: You can take the local bus to Jiezhou Guandi Temple Station.
  • Self-driving: You can reach Yuncheng via the highway, and then follow the signs to Jiezhou Guandi Temple.
