Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding
Introduction
The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan Province (referred to as "Chengdu Giant Panda Base") is located in the northern suburbs of Chengdu. It is one of the largest giant panda research, protection and education bases in China and even the world. The base was established in 1987 and covers an area of about 1,000 acres. It has rich natural vegetation and giant panda habitat environment and is an important place for giant panda protection and breeding.

Opening Hours
Open all year round, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Transportation
- Bus: Take bus No. 107, No. 198 and other lines to get directly to the base entrance.
- Subway: Take Subway Line 3 and get off at the Zoo Station, then walk or transfer to other means of transportation.
- Self-driving: You can reach Chengdu City via the G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway, and then drive to the base according to the navigation instructions.

- Please love the animals, keep quiet, and do not feed them.
- Comply with the park regulations and do not touch the giant pandas or other animals at will.
- Smoking and open flames are prohibited in the base.
