Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon
Introduction
The Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon is about 504.6 kilometers long, with a maximum depth of 6,009 meters, an average depth of 2,268 meters, and a valley bottom width of between 1 and 10 kilometers. Located at the junction of Milin County and Medog County, Nyingchi City, Tibet Autonomous Region, China, it is the world's largest canyon and is famous for its magnificent natural scenery and unique geological landforms. The canyon has rich biodiversity, including many rare animal and plant species. In addition, the canyon is also where the world's highest river, the Yarlung Zangbo River, flows, and the river rushes down, forming a spectacular waterscape.
